Bozeman Night Live is a talent show that features music of all kinds alongside dancing, comedy, and so much more. A tradition for over 30 years, Bozeman Night Live started as Hawks Night Live, when Bozeman High School was the city’s only high school. When Gallatin High School opened in 2020, the show was rechristened to welcome talent from both high schools.

As BFOM’s largest fundraiser of the year, Bozeman Night Live generates support for all levels of music education within the Bozeman Public Schools, from Kindergarten through high school. It's also a treasured and much-anticipated community event that celebrates student achievements and contributes to the local arts culture.

When school starts in the fall, you can also expect to see our annual Musical Instrument Swap! Similar to a ski swap, the BFOM Instrument Swap offers the chance to buy and sell gently used instruments on consignment. All instruments are inspected and graded before sale.

BFOM Members get early access to the sale for the best selection.

Common Swap items include: band and orchestra instruments, guitars, banjos, harmonicas, and accessories like music stands, metronomes, and cases.
